As in the past, I will post lists accumulated from various activities at this past weekend's Booktopia.
This list is thanks to Katie Loss and includes the books exchanged during her part of the Yankee Book Swap. Her group included two authors, Bianca Marais (who, admirably, was a last minute fill-in for Chloe Benjamin who was ill) and Sara J. Henry (as an attendee, presenter at two prior Booktopias).

I am surprised by the Comey book but I am a conservative person.

Gerald, I would think that you might enjoy the Comey book. I have already read it and it truly is a memoir of Comey's life and what made him who he is (including having his home broken into when he and his brother were home alone when Comey was 16).
Comey admits he is / was a Republican and does what he feels is right for the country which may not be what is right for him. He believes in transparency when it is allowed but understands that there are times with an ongoing investigation it just is not appropriate to comment.

No I stick with Flavia Deluce and Alan Bradley. I have said that I believe most books are written by liberals and many are very good. I like a certain kind of book like THE Alienist . Back about 150 years and murder is included.I just finished I AM HALF SICK OF SHADOWS by Bradley and to my surprise I thought it was missing something.,I hope to get into listening more at work and I am starting THE SONG OF ACHILLES by Miller( no relation) which is one that I have waited to read or listen to got a long time.
