As in the past, I will post lists accumulated from various activities at this past weekend's Booktopia.
This list is thanks to Katie Loss and includes the books exchanged during her part of the Yankee Book Swap. Her group included two authors, Bianca Marais (who, admirably, was a last minute fill-in for Chloe Benjamin who was ill) and Sara J. Henry (as an attendee, presenter at two prior Booktopias).

I know people who did not attend are eager to see these lists so this year, I am posting the "raw" lists and will come back later to put the Goodreads links.

The Map of Salt and Stars by Jennifer Zeynab Joukhador

Lucky Boy by Shanthi Sekaran

Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys

The House at Riverton by Kate Morton

Girls Burn Brighter by Shobha Rao

The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

A Higher Loyalty by James Comey

2fer: A Cold and Lonely Place and
Learning to Swim by Sara J. Henry

Commonwealth by Ann Patchett

Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff

Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood

Yiddish Policeman’s Union by Michael Chabon

A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry

Tell the Wolves I’m Home by Carol Rifka Brunt

My Struggle: Book 1 by Karl Ove Knausgaard

Gerald wrote: "I am surprised by the Comey book but I am a conservative person."

Gerald, I would think that you might enjoy the Comey book. I have already read it and it truly is a memoir of Comey's life and what made him who he is (including having his home broken into when he and his brother were home alone when Comey was 16).
Comey admits he is / was a Republican and does what he feels is right for the country which may not be what is right for him. He believes in transparency when it is allowed but understands that there are times with an ongoing investigation it just is not appropriate to comment.

Gerald Miller | 821 comments No I stick with Flavia Deluce and Alan Bradley. I have said that I believe most books are written by liberals and many are very good. I like a certain kind of book like THE Alienist . Back about 150 years and murder is included.I just finished I AM HALF SICK OF SHADOWS by Bradley and to my surprise I thought it was missing something.,I hope to get into listening more at work and I am starting THE SONG OF ACHILLES by Miller( no relation) which is one that I have waited to read or listen to got a long time.

Mamie Anthoine Ney (mmaney) | 5 comments Bianca Marais was excellent. Her book, "Hum if You Don't Know the Words," appears in many Booktopians' stash pictures. Very happy for her and for us. Hopefully Chloe Benjamin will be with us at some point in the future. Hum If You Don’t Know the Words
