Amanda (manka23) | 14 comments Likeee.. book that has a cover a certain color, book that has a weapon on the cover. Book with an author that shares an initial with you... etc etc. Check out other challenges and maybe get some ideas from them as well. Just can't be too hard or too easy. Maybe like 10-15 tasks?

message 5: by Susy (new)

Susy (susysstories) Dewey's readathon had a cool scavenger hunt. I also liked the idea of it being a group effort:

I especially liked the ones you were supposed to reach together, like:
- Welcome to the Zoo: how many different animals can we collect
- Author ABC: try to get every letter in the alphabet
- Title ABC: try to get every letter in the alphabet
- Visit xx countries (There are 195 countries. The book needs to be set there at least a quarter of the time. Alternatively, the author can be from a different country as well. So either set in or written by...)
- Fictional race or animals (dragons, elves etc): how many can we collect

message 29: by Sanah (new)

Sanah Shabbir (szs_30) We should have a list of challenges that make us read books out of our comfort zone or read books in different ways (bought from an independent book store, new format, etc). Kind of like the list in Since You've Been Gone (for those who have read it), but with book challenges instead.

message 32: by Mystic Orange (last edited May 23, 2018 04:09PM) (new)

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) RGB challenge. That is a challenge that we had on my group. So in one month you must have three weeks. The first week the group needs to read books with a red cover. The second week is where you read a book with a green cover. And on the third week is where you read a book with a blue cover. The challenge on my group was very successful.
