I was wondering about that, too.

I think it would be good to have at least one reference, yes, to prove that the word is really in the text.

Thanks! :-)

I honestly have a hard time defining what Indigo is.

I'm not sure this isn't too much normal blue rather than indigo. I think it might need a little more of a purple touch and be a little darker to be considered indigo. :-/

I honestly don't know color shades out of normal ones like blue, red, green :P
I tried that color website and it said regal blue, but I'm not really sure that page would actually say indigo if it was or it would be some other blue or purple or whatever.
That's why I asked. Maybe someone is better with colors than me :P

There was no mention that plurals were allowed, and since we don't have many tasks where a specific word needs to be found, I'm thinking it has to be the exact same word.

Lol yes... I have trouble with the various shades as well. It's either the one colour or not but don't give me multiple shades and degrees with a different name each o.O

LaurLa | 2378 comments E - I updated my posts with some class options. I DIDN'T include where they might be used for History of Magic. I figure those could be almost any book not used elsewhere... as long as we have someone with creativity to make them into an essay!

I think it is a little dark for indigo. I generally think of indigo as a brighter blue that is a little purple. Tineye calls it Regal Blue (Blue).

I think indigo is half way between violet and blue, by definition.

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments I checked Tineye and it says The California Dashwoods by Lisa Henry is 61.4% regal blue and Lover Unbound (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #5) by J.R. Ward 49% Blue Lagoon.

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments E- I'm updating all my read books to include all classes.

I'm currently reading Magic Binds. I think magic can kill a whole lot of creatures unless magic is too generic?

I'll be reading The Bird and the Sword this week. Can be used for DAD.

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments Can this be used for transfiguration?

Annalisa | 1573 comments I really feel like I'm stretching for the transfiguration.

I finished When Breath Becomes Air and I think the warning about crying at the end helped because I was not tearing. Without the warning and emotional preparation I think I would have cried.

My current books:

Reading:
The Skylighter (The Keepers' Chronicles, #2) by Becky Wallace
Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly (BOM)
Flashes of War by Katey Schultz (Green Cover)

Committed to reading:
The Invasion of the Tearling (The Queen of the Tearling, #2) by Erika Johansen (Buddy Read starting 5/21/18)
Down Among the Sticks and Bones (Wayward Children, #2) by Seanan McGuire (Buddy Read starting 5/22/18)
Hello Stranger (The Ravenels, #4) by Lisa Kleypas (Another Buddy Read starting 6/3/18)

Maybe/Hopefully soon:
Words of Radiance (The Stormlight Archive, #2) by Brandon Sanderson (brown cover and over 500 pages)
Red Sister (Book of the Ancestor #1) by Mark Lawrence
The Mirror King (The Orphan Queen, #2) by Jodi Meadows
Men Without Women by Haruki Murakami
Bane and Shadow (Empire of Storms, #2) by Jon Skovron
Beneath the Sugar Sky (Wayward Children, #3) by Seanan McGuire
King of Sword and Sky (Tairen Soul, #3) by C.L. Wilson

If there are any that are more useful than others here let me know and I will fit them in first. I've got to work on finishing up my current reads and the Book of the Month. I'm going to be doing a lot of a little bit of this book and then on the the next book for a while. I'm glad one of my current reads is short stories because I can set it aside and come back to it when I'm not in the middle of a bunch of time restricted books.

The green one is slotted in for the green Potions cover.

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I've got the following I think we could slot in places:

Astronomy
We Are All Made of Stars

Care of Magical Creatures:
Everything Here Is Beautiful by Mira T. Lee or Rhapsodic (The Bargainer, #1) by Laura Thalassa wings?

Defense Against Dark Arts
Iron Gold Do either of those have destroying powers?
Feedback Zombies?
The Vampire’s Fake Fiancée Vampires
The Shifter Romances The Writer Some shifter. Not sure which one yet.
Inkheart Dragons but I don't want to kill dragons

Herbology
Red Dirt Heart 2 (Red Dirt, #2) by N.R. Walker

Potions
Body Double (Jane Rizzoli & Maura Isles, #4) by Tess Gerritsen Orange?
Her Last Day (Jessie Cole, #1) by T.R. Ragan Yellow?
The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan Turquoise?
No Good Duke Goes Unpunished (The Rules of Scoundrels, #3) by Sarah MacLean Green?
Say You'll Remember Me by Katie McGarry Purple?
Goodbye Days by Jeff Zentner Is this indigo? I cannot tell.

My current book has dogs on the cover if we can think of something to do with that with transfiguration. There's a pumpkin on the cover of another book which we could use to tranform into something a la Cinderella. And a dragon on another cover.

I like the first butterfly wings cover for the Magical Creature. It'll be an epic beast that eats gourmet food (already provided through a book read by Tea hehe).

And you know, if your purple cover had a little less purple in the middle, I'd consider that indigo.
Your indigo suggestion seems more blue.

Iron is deadly to the fae. So could definitely be used. Gold.. euh.. not sure. But we can use the iron in that title.

Whatever is clear, I'll slot in and then we'll see where we're at.

Feedback (Newsflesh, #4) by Mira Grant

Zombies could be poisoned, right? Even if you have to potentially pump it into your own brains before they devour it?

If so, we could pair that one with V's Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder .

Eta: Such a shame that defence has to be in the title, or that tool belt would have gone beautifully with a zombie bloodbath.

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments I'm one chapter away from finishing The Bird and the Sword... The sword can finish that zombie better than poison I think ;) No need to sacrifice your own brains.
