Just finished this as April Randomizer read and seemed to fit this tag as well. Sharp Objects. A small time news reporter is sent back home to get the scoop on two murders. She has not been back home in years. She learns more than she bargains for. 4 stars.

Didn't care for this one. I guess my perception or experience with young teenage girls is different than Flynn. The characters didn't fit into my universe. I couldn't believe in them.

I remember this being a very dark book.

I quite enjoyed this one. It was dark indeed.
