Val let Lauren lead her into one of her least favorite rooms in the Hogwarts Castle.
"I have to return the book," Val complained.
"What?" Val asked.
((That is my trouble with the library. I have shelves and shelves in my house))
((That is my trouble with the library. I have shelves and shelves in my house))
((I don't go to the library, I go to Barnes and Nobles and buy my books XD I have books all over my room))
"Nothing," she laughed.
"Nothing," she laughed.
((I have two full-sized bookcases, a pile on my dresser, 4 piled in my closet, and some under my bed. That's not actually all the books in my house))
"I don't believe you," Val giggled.
"I don't believe you," Val giggled.
((I have three shelves in my closet, 4 stacks on my bedside, 2 stacks on my desk, one stack on my floor, and that's just my room...))
"Why not?" Lauren asked.
"Why not?" Lauren asked.
((I have like 500 probably, and that's just ME in my house. There's a lot elsewhere in the house belonging to the rest of my family. Probably at least a 1000 in total there))
"A hunch." Val sat down at one of the tables.
"A hunch." Val sat down at one of the tables.
"Nothing," Val said, sticking her hands up in a fake surrender.
"Wanna see if we can find a book that might have some prank spells in it?" she suggested wearily.
"Yeah, the book I found was written by George Weasley. Should be good," Val laughed.
The book was fat, and Val instinctively turned to the index.
"A bunch of hexes, potions, and recipes, it looks like," Val said. "Have a preference?"
"Okay." Val flipped to page 300.
"Doubtful, knowing Rose's family," Val laughed. "Do you want to just take this book and keep it instead of returning it?"
Val grinned. "See, bending the rules isn't bad," Val said proudly.
"You can't tell me this is the first time you've broken the rules."
((Sorry for disappearing. I thought I was going to be able to get back on my laptop before bed, but I was not.))
"It is, isn't it?"
"It is, isn't it?"
Val shook her head, a grin tugging at the corners of her lips.
"You," Val laughed, "need to live a little. Come on!" Val dragged Lauren out of the library and into a secret passageway.
((A girl at my school literally did that to me once. She dragged me behind the bleachers, and we investigated various doors back there.))

((Should we continue in Secret Passageways?))
"Hogsmeade," Val replied with a grin.
