Rhiannon D'Averc (nocturnalpancake) | 1 comments Just started a new web serial myself: https://medium.com/@rhiannondaverc/fa...

I'm posting on Medium for a start as you can see. Also hosting a Patreon to try and get enough funding for a standalone website.

EmptyPattern | 1 comments I want to share a serial I've started called Shatterbrain (NSFW):

https://shatterbrainserial.wordpress.com

It's a dark, mind-bending war tale with mild sci-fi context. Synopsis:

In 2043, young aspiring psychologist Sophie discovers she has an uncle, Wallace, who has survived the devastating hardships the western world has gone through in the 2020s. With the help of a brain worm, a neuronal interface, Sophie can relive Wallace’s story in first person, spanning through a tragically one-sided world war, a doomed resistance movement, and unspeakable horrors in the malformed reconstructed society that follows.

Let me know what you think!

M.P. Fitzgerald | 1 comments It has been out for a little over a year, but if you have not seen it already, check out my serial, Existential Terror and Breakfast!

http://revfitz.com/existential-terror...

It is about a man drowning in his own mind and breakfast. Destroy your dull Wednesdays with a witty and dark humor about irrelevant musings and a story about a man who's worse enemy is his own boredom.

Have fun :)

Kana Smith (kana13) | 1 comments I'm so glad to find all these links to serial fiction!--I want to see what other people are doing... I just launched a serial novel, and I'm looking forward to community interaction as I continue to write...

http://www.bykanasmith.com

It's historical fiction (whaling) with a little time travel thrown in (because the narrator stubbornly refused to fit into the century where I'd placed her)...

Marnie Silverman | 1 comments I have a finished web serial over at http://antlerscolorado.com/ about a psychic medium who runs away to the Southwest and solves supernatural mysteries! It's about the length of two novels, and has interactive "intermissions" between chapters.

I'm also in the midst of working on a post-apocalyptic road trip serial over at http://prairiesongserial.com/ in a collaborative effort with my girlfriend!

Both serials have chapter and cast page illustrations, as well as casts of LGBTQ characters.

Utopicdrow | 3 comments It's been awhile since the last post, so I can only assume not too many people look at this thread anymore. But I'm new here, so I figured I'd contribute anyway.

I greatly enjoy reading web fiction on this site: https://www.scribblehub.com/

As for a specific litrpg web serial that I wholeheartedly recommend, here's one! https://beastborne.wordpress.com/ It's such a great read, and it's getting updated daily.

What are you talking about? Webfictionguide hasn't been adding any web serials for at least 6 months. It's impossible to register too.

And a lot of writers on twitter just spam writerlifts. Is there some other kind of hashtag to find these web serial authors? I'd really like to know.

i heard they were working to revamp/move the website to another platform where it could be more easily managed - at least that's what was said last on the forums.

http://forums.webfictionguide.com/top...

so far everything has been backed up and coding is currently in progress. i didn't realize the rest of the site had ground to a standstill while this was happening, but it does seem like itll be up and running again!

Also, I don't know many of the hashtags between various serial writers but you could check out this twitter and see if anything there is to your liking, and that might help! I think the community is pretty scattered at the moment, unfortunately :(

Thank you for both your forthright replies!

Be as that as it may for webfictionguide, they've been saying that for awhile and nothing has yet to change. The website as it is just doesn't accurately reflect ongoing webserials anymore. Some of my favorites aren't even on there, it's rather saddening.

that is true and does suck, but i have better news for you!

one of the serial twitters i follow has decided to collect the webserials on tagpacker, so you might be able to find more on here!

Ashton (geek_aflame) Speaking of where to find web serials. How does one add their serial to this site? I've seen a lot of web serials indexed here and would love to add mine.

i wish i knew! you add it just like a regular book, supposedly, but when i went to add mine it was taken down (multiple times) because the moderators (?) don't accept webserials. i got a whole email about it, which i found strange, because... there ARE webserials hosted on the site... you can try to add yours and see if they'll allow it, and maybe you'll have better luck!

Tirzah Hawkins | 1 comments Is anyone reading serials on the new Kindle Vella?

Here's a little info about my story I have there.

If you enjoy #TheWalkingDead and/or #StephenKing, then this story is for you. It's not about zombies, but it is about survival in an apocalypse.
Creepy, paranormal, creature, survival horror.

Excerpt: "Is anyone there? We have safety." We have safety. The words pulled at my being even as my brain told me not to trust them. Don't get up your hopes. When you're fifteen, and something they can't describe in your high school biology book comes into your house at night and kills your parents as they sleep, you wonder if safety is a real thing.

Read the first three episodes for free. (And Amazon gives you 200 free tokens to keep reading if you haven't claimed yours already.) https://www.amazon.com/kindle-vella/s...
