Jaxson looked up. "So, instead of pretending to be happy, let's just be ourselves."

"Sounds good to me." Lakota smiles just a tiny bit.
"Good." Jaxson felt bad for ruining her happy mood. He had loved how happy and serene she looked when she was reading. And he had ruined it. Heck, he had made her cry!
She closes her eyes for a minute before opening them and smiling again. "This is me, I guess. Being myself is hiding the sadness and letting others be happy."
"Don't." Jaxson sounded angry, more angry then he had ever felt. He had let anger and sadness at the dark lanterns ruin his life, and he didn't want anybody else to make his mistake. "Don't let it control you, share it, and forgive."
Lakota sighs. "I just don't want others to suffer."
"But they won't. We all have our secrets, but it would be a better world if everybody just told someone they trust."'jaxson said slowly. "If you do, no one will suffer."
"Well I told you. You are the first person to know." Lakota shrugs.
"And I told you. Don't you feel better?" Jaxson knew he felt better.
She smiled and nodded. "Loads. Thanks for listening. But I still like to be happy and make others happy, if that makes sense."
"It does, but it doesn't mean you need to be sad," Jaxson smiled. This girl didn't realize how she had a naturally happy aura.
Jaxson smile grew. "Good!" He laughed. She had inadvertently made a golden halo of flames pop up over her head.
"What?" She asked, quite alarmed. She looked up, but the halo moved with her head so she couldn't see it.
"You have a halo on your head?" He said, puzzled.
"I do? How did it get there?" Asked Lakota.

((Back... Using my moms ipad :) ))"No powers... Lakota, you do have powers." Jaxson grinned.
"Yeah I know that... I just never use them because... Well I just told you why I never use them." Lakota looks extremely puzzeled.
"Yeah, but you should learn how to control them." Jaxson looked worried.
"What do you mean?" Lakota still hasn't realized the halo.
((She did...that's what we have been talking about....))
((Oh, whoops! I read earlier in the convo.))Lakota closes her eyes and breathes in and out, terrified.
"Hey, Lakota, you'll be fine, I'll help you." Jaxson murmured softly.
She nods slowly. "Yes, please." She said, remembering the fire.
"Ok. Let's go to the training center." Jaxson was scared, but he took her hand, because she looked really scared.
She lightly squeezed his hand and slowly walked towards the training center, fearing the fire would touch her.
Amelia was walking back to the dorm from the dining hall with Queenie.
"Hey, have you seen Dana lately?" Queenie asked. "I saw her a few hours ago, and she looked like she was crying."
Amelia frowned and stopped walking. She teared up a bit, " it's my fault."

"Wait, what?" Queenie didn't understand. "I don't get it."

Amelia saw Zane and walked towards him, but first told Queenie," I'll tell you later."
"Ok." Queenie was puzzled. But, she had a message she was supposed to tell Zane. "Dana says she remembered." Queenie had a confused expression in her face. "She said you would know what she meant."
Amelia nodded, "yeah what's that about? She mentioned it earlier."
"She… well, she couldn't remember her past." Queenie confided. "Just… don't tell her I told you. She has some trust issues."

"To be honest, I had theories. Her aura suggested confusion and loss." Amelia then looked at Zane. "Why'd you sneak in?"

"Zane p, what's wrong?" Queenie was nervous. Zane looked worried, and his usual snooty expression had been replaced by confusion, and something Queenie couldn't recognize.
