Karin | 9216 comments I have been mostly not here for some time due to taxes and a zillion financial aid forms and scholarship help for my son, etc. But, taxes filed, request for larger scholarship accepted and raised somewhat, a private scholarship won, and (trumpet fanfare here) we finally know where my son is going to school next year! There is still a lot going on, but know that I have missed being here more often and that I do see what you are all reading. I just posted a review from a book I finished 11 days ago plus one more and am not going to catch up on all the reviews today.

fwiw, my son will have a crazy commute, but for him it's worth it.

Thanks--I get it when I can. Things are a bit less crazy, but still very busy until he graduates from high school and has his wisdom teeth pulled. Then I hope things will go to a dull roar for the summer. We have two daughters at home as well, but a bit older.

Susie It’s nice to hear from you Karin.

Anita Pomerantz | 9280 comments I always say that child rearing is not for the faint of heart. When things are going well, it is stressful, and when they are not, it is extremely stressful.

Glad you have the good kind of stress right now! Congrats on your son's achievements. Dont leave us for toooo long.

I am going to steal that line about kids and stress.

Karin | 9216 comments I guess I spoke too soon--I haven't made it here in over a week, I don't think, and didn't post my Strong Women review in time as I'm 4 or 5 books behind in my review writing.
