It was all the I like..." I did not like..." style of the reviews that got my attention on it. Both the same simple distinct style that had me arching my eyebrows after Sarah's confrontation.

The first and last book were the worst for me at 2 stars. I think Alaina gave some of them 1 star. I know she drank a lot of wine while reading them XD

I really should read more novels with ‘Asian themes’ but I don’t usually find them through my usual browsing actually... I really love medieval-like fantasy and that doesn’t usually have Asian leads from what I’ve seen 8’D
Would love some recommendations on where to start though if you have some for me!
