I have to say it is a good book of poetry, because it made me feel. Unfortunately it made me feel sad, horrified, lonely, angry and disgusted. So I can't rightly say I enjoyed it.
I would have loved to read this in a group or a class to learn about the history and politics that shaped the author's early life, but quite a bit is transmitted through the poems.
I would recommended it with the note to read a few poems at a time and then walk away. I took it in all at once during travel and it was heavy.
