And freaking Saegan needs to be stopped. Why are these girls so vicious to each other?? Also, I do not trust Cassie one bit. And I think it was either Henri or Will that pushed Gigi in front of that car. What was Alec trying to say to Henri when he was drunk?? And Bette putting a camera in Gigi's room is stupid omg. Ch. 18 (view spoiler)[ Bette and June working together, idk how I feel about this. But I'm really happy Bette went to the hospital for Eleanor. Clearly time away from this school was good for Bette, at least a bit because I still think she's crazy and needs psych help. I'm really happy that June and her mother had that talk. I hope June will start taking this stuff more seriously and will develop a healthy food relationship. But honestly, when the teacher pinched her leg like that I was so fucking appalled! They are enforcing a unhealthy body image mentality and that's not good for their dancers! And Gigi, oh my sweet innocent Gigi... she's fallen such a long way tsk tsk I really wish she hadn't given that peanut hummus to Eleanor, she didn't deserve that. (hide spoiler)]

I started this a little early as it is the only audiobook I have with me, today.

Up to chapter 10 - (view spoiler)[It was pretty sad to see Gigi feel she had to alter herself, after the ordeal during her past year at the academy. She forces herself to smile less and is less trusting, making her a lot like the other girls.

She is far from innocent but I do feel sorry for Bette as she maintains that she was not the one to push Gigi in front of traffic. I wonder who the true culprit will prove to be? (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 20 - (view spoiler)[I can understand why Gigi feels she has to retaliate to all the wrongs done to her but it is completely the wrong response as she now no better than them. This whole scenario is so toxic! I don't know whether to trust Cassie yet and I feel Gigi shouldn't either. Cassie is giving her information but is it true? And what is her real intention in doing so?

End - (view spoiler)[I'm glad that Gigi admitted to ruining Saegan's ballet shoes, apologised, and purchased her custom-made new ones. I was happy that she realised that Saegan was not the one to place glass into her slippers and did not seek out even more vengeance, after this.

I was also so glad to see poor June get the recognition and help for her eating disorder that she sorely needed and that she made amends with Saijin.

Cassie was the silent victim who did not appear in book one but here she was behind so much of the drama and misdeeds. Eleanor already had to deal with a serious abuse of power from her teacher but Cassie was to blame for the entire school becoming aware of it and calling her horrendous names, when they should have been placing their anger towards the other party. It caused her to attempt to take her own life to escape it all, making these final chapters so traumatically sad! (hide spoiler)]

June got help for her bulimia and gets to dance professionally. Maybe she and Saijinn will still end up together someday?

Gigi focused on herself and dancing and got her dream to be in the company. She's with Alec now so hopefully they stay together.
