At the sametime her mom is Remarrying, their parents had split for a long time, to a guy named George (I think?) who lives in England. He was 2 kids already. One's girl and other one a guy who is one of them in her "dreams." The Main character has a little sister who she's close too. Also had a Nanny who had kids and is retiring after her Mom marries. Her mo traveled a lot for jobs so they've been to a few countries.
All the guys are older than her. And she meets them out the dream but she doesn't recognize them and they figure that part out faster than her, but doesn't know right away. In the dreams the a corridor with doors. Some are locked most are opened and her door is too. One of them was having a nightmare when she was shown around, I guess the had a rule about not interfering with that stuff. One of the boys was her new step brother.
There's an incident where when they're going on the plane the bomb sniffing dog starts barking at her bag. They're stopped but the security guy discovered that it was only stink cheese they were trying to smuggle in.
The guys were also used to dreaming together they know each other in real life too. And some of the stuff that happens in the dreams drip into real life. Also there was something important about one of the guys giving her their sweater and she wore it to sleep and it appeared in the dream or something and gave it back?, not much sense but the sweater was important. All in high school.
I didn't get to finish it. The cover had some red and white in it. It was a physical book. I read in 2016 or 2015. the setting was in London and areas around it. It might have been part of a 2 part series.
