Aliza | 8 comments I received this book as a birthday present about 10 to 12 years ago but it got thrown out or given away. The cover had illustrations from the book surrounded by a pink border. There were three stories. The first was about two children-siblings, maybe?-see fairies having a picnic and a dance at night. They also see the fairy queen. The next day they see two small cupcakes from the fairies' picnic, which they decide to eat at night and see what happens, and the story ends after they make the decision. The second story is about a brother and sister who discover a magical sweetshop with different colour candies that make them grow and shrink, and one that brings them back to their house. The last story is about a boy who gets trapped in cave filled with treasure. The villain draws a magic circle around him and he cannot leave the circle. Eventually he is able to escape. Each page has really beautiful, detailed illustrations. I cannot remember the author, but I think the title is called Bedtime Stories or something. (It's not the same thing as the movie Bedtime Stories.)

Adele | 1443 comments This book has three stories in it including one called, "The Magic Sweetshop": Enid Blyton's Bedtime Stories The trouble is there are a lot of volumes of this and/or a lot of books with basically the same name and they may contain different stories. Some of them have more and some have three.

Aliza | 8 comments Thank you so much!!!! I loved this book and its illustrations when I was younger to the point that it influenced a lot of my art that I draw over 10 years later. Thank you again!!!
