For the first time in his relationship with Rainy, Cork is feeling insecure about them and how he measures up with her ex-husband. Should he have been? Why hadn’t he pressed for more about her past? Had he taken her for granted?

Phrynne | 607 comments He should have pressed her for more information especially as he told her everything. I really hope it is not a case of him being the one who loves the most.

I’ve never forgotten he strayed from Rainy and the reason he returned to her. I always thought Cork believed she’d always be there, only he had to choose. Well, here he was threatened as he could clearly see Rainy had a choice. It made me angry that he hadn’t been interested enough to know about her life before him. He didn’t even know Peter.

While I hold Rainy fully accountable for her secrecy in the matter, I’m also equally disappointed in Cork for not having a clue as to the name of her first husband. Who does that to someone you love?
