Eric | 8 comments I've created a new series, an Argentine Series for Choose Your Own Adventure. It has its own numbers and titles, that varies from the original US series.

I encountered a problem though, when I add a book to the series, the edition that's added, and that you end up seeing on the series list, will be different to the Argentine Edition of the book.

Not only it's confusing because the Argentine series is showing the wrong editions, it also shows the numbers that are different in the other series.

Is there a way to make sure the correct book edition (the argentine one) is the one showing on the series list?

For example, this should be the edition showing for the first book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Thank you guys!! :)

PS: Oh! One thing I tried: I went to this first book edition and set the series I created as the primary one (by moving it to the top of the series the book is included on). Didn't seem to help.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments Firstly, please only create a series in a second language if the numbering is different from the original language (I haven't checked if that is the case here). If the number is the same, add the alternate language series names into the existing series description fields.

Secondly, the edition that shows for the series will always be the default edition. That it isn't the default is often an indication that it is possibly not appropriate to have a series in that language.

If you wish to make an edition specific list, you will need to use Listopia, not a Series, and then ask for it to be made Static by a Super if you can't do it yourself on creation.

Eric | 8 comments I see, thank you Emy.

Yes, the numbering is different.

I appreciate you taking the time.

All the best :)
