Jake Stocker Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets constantly keeps the reader intrigued about what will happen next. J.K Rowling does a great job of being able to put images into the readers head throughout the story. Harry has to figure out who is killing all these people and try to make his way into the Chamber of Secrets while not getting caught by any of his professors. Potter’s never give up attitude helps him get what he has to do to help the school. Throughout the story the setting is The Wizardry School of Hogwarts, but at the beginning the story takes place at Potter’s Aunt and Uncles house. At the end of the book the story takes place in the Chamber of Secrets, which The imagery used in this book helped keep a mental image. At the end of the story during the final fight Rowling uses imagery so the readers feels like they are in the room during the fight. Another literary quality is the irony because of the fact that Voldemort failed to kill Potter, he has some of Voldemort inside of him which makes him able to speak parsel tongue and he can understand what the basilisk is saying. There was also an incredible amount of foreshadowing throughout the story, especially when Harry was speaking parsel tongue. What draws readers into this book is that they can not guess what will happen next. Another item that draws in readers is they feel like they are in the book and imagine exactly what is happening and what they are feeling. This book deserves a five out of five star rating because of its constant action and edge of the seat feeling.

Matt Davis This book sounds extremely intriguing to read because of the in depth review. It gives the reader an insight of how the story progresses and how much imagery can help while reading a through book. Readers would enjoy this book because of the mental picture that are obtained from the imagery that J.K. Rowling puts into it.

Kris This book seems to be filled with excitement on every page. For myself there was almost to much information, like the reader crammed the whole book into one little paragraph. The words used to describe the book were second to none.

Nathan Michels Knowing that this book makes the reader feel like he's in the same room as the action that's going on in the novel really is an interesting factor. The magical preference shown is an attention grabber for the book Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets. Going deeper into the magic that happens in this novel would fit more well with this review.
