Because I have been to the Holocaust Museum in Berlin, Germany, I find this book pulls a little tight on my heartstrings. I hope everyone is enjoying the book, and for those who do not have a copy yet, I will not post any spoilers yet. :)
I'm so glad that it is meaningful for you! It is a bittersweet experience to enjoy the journey of a book but to feel the pangs of
sadness and empathy in your soul. It is like you are taking in some of the experience and making it your own- the beautiful and the ugly.
I think I mentioned this quote- I find it to be so very true, and it is why I love books (and can't seem to purge them):
"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only once."
- G. Martin
