Replacing my new cover with my old

Hi, I can't find the thread I was in but I recently added new covers. They don't show on my page.
1- I tried entering a new edition with the cover, I can make it show in the moment
2-when I go back on the page the old cover is represented.

Can you help me please? I have 7 new covers and I've spent so much time and can't seem to figure it out.

Hi Sandra, yes it is, it wasn't showing on my dashboard or when I clicked on the book earlier. Thanks for pointing out! Looks like it is all sorted.

You've added the new covers & combined them by the looks of it. Now you just need to make the new covers the default editions. Then they'll show up in searches etc.

Yes, I tried doing that but I still only see the original covers when I open up to the page. Is this the way it will always be? I will see the old covers, but someone searching sees the new?

Each cover will have their own page, we keep the old covers.

When did you do the default edits? Not sure how long the cache is, but it wouldn't be as long as author pages are.

At present I see the old covers when searching.

If you can't get it to work you'll need to contact support, as librarians cannot edit default editions.

It changes immediately on the author page itself. Search can take a bit longer to update.

But the author dashboard does not change. No one can see that but the author, though.
