It’s being published in April and I hope Reese picks it as her May selection. It’s fabulous. A big, meaty, spiritual drama. My five star review:

boat_tiger (motroth421) I'm reading "The Hush" by Sarah Foster. It's a Margaret Atwood-esque dystopian novel that hits very close to home in that it's very similar to what the world is going through at the moment. So far so good.

The main characters are so intriguing and dynamic, underdogs that you want to succeed, and the setting in the Australian rainforest is unique and interesting.

And for fun, also waiting on Akata Woman to arrive at the library which was just released this year! Loved Nnedi Okorafor's other books in the series, Akata Witch and Akata Warrior.

I'm open to other suggestions too! Mahalo! ~m

message 4550: by Denise (new)

Denise (denisemeagles) | 71 comments The Five Wounds is outstanding. Definitely one of my favorite books this year. The key characters are fabulous.

Must Love Books is a lighter read. I like the peek behind the curtain of the publishing world. You will also be challenged to define your definition of Happiness.
