I am reading The Light Keeper’s Daughters, by Jean E. Pendziwol. So far so good. I belong to a book club and we will be discussing and reviewing this book in April.
I’m reading The Proposal and The 100 year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared for the Popsugar challenge
Alicia wrote: "Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple"How is that? I keep going back and forth on whether or not to read it.
Helene wrote: "Tia! you chosed an amazing book! I read it and LOVED IT! Enjoy"I will!! Glad to hear that it was a good choice Helene!
Finally finished The Woman in the Window by AJ Finn. It was so good. It was a little slow in the beginning but once it picked up and got to the good stuff I couldn't put it down. There were so many twists and turns, it had me guessing until the end. Hopefully when the movie comes out it's as good as the book.
Just recently finished She lies in Wait by Gythia Lodge. It was alright. I love mysteries and thrillers, but this one was not a favorite. It was long and the author went back and forth from present to the past early in the book..then dropped it in the middle & only picked it back up in the last few chapters. I wish it was done through the whole book. Overall it was okay, but not something I'd want to read again. Reading Next Year in Havana now, by Chanel Cleeton...really enjoying it thus far!
I am currently reading Writing Down Your Soul: How to Activate and Listen to the Extraordinary Voice Within and 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don't Do: Own Your Power, Channel Your Confidence, and Find Your Authentic Voice for a Life of Meaning and Joy.These are self help books and I am hoping these can help improve my new year and keep me on a path to success.
Currently I am reading 'The Lucky One' by Nicholas sparks & my next book will be 'One Day in a December' on Reese's list.
Recently finished The Alice Network by Katie Quinn and oh my goodness, I can’t believe I stalled so long on reading it! It was amazing! Just started Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty today!
Jenna wrote: "Recently finished The Alice Network by Katie Quinn and oh my goodness, I can’t believe I stalled so long on reading it! It was amazing! Just started Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty today!"These are both on my must read list! I have heard that they are both great books..
I just started reading All the Ugly and Wonderful Things but recently finished Robin, Wish You Were Here, and The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society.
Gretchen wrote: "Always curious about what everyone else is reading and enjoying. Tell us what you've checked out recently!"The Lost Man by Jane Harper is my current read. I really enjoyed her other two books The Dry and Force of Nature.
Hi I’m new here. I love reading what other people are reading. I’m currently reading Walden by Henry David Thoreau, The Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer and Educated by Tara Westover. I just finished And then there were none by Agatha Christie it was awesome.
The Financial Diet by Chelsea Fagan and I would recommend it for anyone trying to learn how to manage and make the most of their money
Several readers in this group had positive comments on the book “The Woman in the Window” by A.J. Finn so I decided to give it a try. It was a real page turner and quite suspenseful. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation.
