Ashley wrote: "I just received 'Daisy Jones & The Six' in the mail and cannot wait to get home start reading it."Loved Daisy Jones & The Six!! Loved how it was written!
I just finished Daisy Jones & the Six. Now I am currently reading The Silent Patient and When We Believed in Mermaids and I am listening to Girl Stop Apologizing

Caroline is involved with the WWII effort whereas her mother Eliza is involved with during the WWI/Russian Revolution. Both books are fascinating stories about real people doing real things during that time. I understand that Martha Hall Kelly is working on another prequel involving Caroline's grandmother involved in the Civil War. I'm so excited to see that one!
Just finished The Convenience Store Woman; it was very good and unlike anything that I've read, character-wise. I'm reading American Dirt for a new book club.
I just finished reading The Scent Keeper. This is another fantastic read. You definitely finish the book with a greater appreciation for the scents you encounter in daily life.
Lori wrote: "Currently reading Dear Edward"What is this story about ? I feel like I have seen it at the bookstore, but I cannot remember what the premise of the story is.
It is about a boy who is the sole survivor of a plane crash and relates how his life changes and the relationships immediately after. This was a really well written book and I enjoyed it.
Katie wrote: "Just finished Where the Crawdads Sing, so good, definitely recommend if you haven't read it yet.Back to working on The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson, I'm like 70% done with it but I've..."
Where the crawdads sing... def one of my top favorites!!
I just finished reading The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek for our February Bookclub Book. I decided to read the Giver of Stars along with this book since they share the topic of the Book Women of Kentucky. Without giving too much away, both books are great reads. They each have a different perspective and uncover a multitude of issues.
The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is a very educational read. The author is from Kentucky and provides keen insight into life in rural Kentucky.
The Giver of Stars revolves around a British woman. The author provides a unique perspective of an "outsider" to Kentucky.
Please read both of these books as the topic of the Book Women of Kentucky is a great treasure in our history and will warm your heart.
I just finished listening to Uncanny Valley on Audible. Girls Night In picked this as their February Book Club Book so I decided to listen to this book as it is read by the author. This is an inside story of how the Silicon Valley treats women. It is hard to take in some parts but is definitely a wake up call for women to aspire to a higher level of equality in the work place.
One key lesson is for all of us to know and to market our true worth to the company.
Carolyn wrote: "Just finished American Dirt and now listening to the Un-honeymooners for a lighter topic."I finished american dirt last week and have given it to two co-workers, they are all reading it very quickly. It's a page-turner for sure
Reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, which is probably my favorite of the year so far, and about to start The Diviners on audiobook!
Jennifer wrote: "It is about a boy who is the sole survivor of a plane crash and relates how his life changes and the relationships immediately after. Starting Don't Overthink It: Make Easier Decisions, Stop Second-Guessing, and Bring More Joy to Your Life by Anne Bogel today!
I just finished More Than Words. This book is by Jill Santopolo who also wrote The Light We Lost. It is a great read.

I haven't been able to put down Girls of Glass by Brianna Labuskes this past week! For any mystery lovers out there I highly recommend.Looking forward to picking up The Jetsetters (for this book club) and The Startless Sea (for my home book club) next!
I have read two beauty guides lately, really interesting and pratical for me, without having to blow the budget.I have also been reading alot of self help books, Get Younger Skin Secrets Now: My Secrets Of How I Look So Young For My Age, The Richest Man in Babylon, The Power of Positive Thinking, Make Up: Your Life Guide to Beauty, Style, and Success--Online and Off. LOVE READING AND LEARNING
I’m currently reading American Dirt, I will probably get The Jetsetters tomorrow when I go to the Barnes & Noble book club, along with whatever book they announce tomorrow! Btw, love the Reese book club!
I've just started ▪In an Instant▪ by Suzanne Redfearnabout a family recovering from a shattering tragedy and must live with decisions made in the moments during this disaster.
I read American Dirt for the Barnes and Noble Book Club today. I really loved the character Luca. Overall the group liked the book.
Jessica wrote: "Started Daisy Jones & The Six last night. Loving it so far! Taylor Jenkins Reid makes this fictional account of a band sound so, so real. I found myself looking up ..."I just finished this book and I can say that I definitely want to read it again! I love it so much, and it is definitely relatable that you found yourself looking up songs that didn't actually exist - I did the very same thing!
