I have our book club pick "Something in the Water" on audio and "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" by Agatha Christie on the nightstand. I'm up in the air on starting another audio book which would be "The Outsider" by Stephen King.
I always read several books at one time! I'm currently reading 2nd Chance by James Patterson (physical book), The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (audiobook), Beauty's Release by A. N. Roquelaure (Anne Rice) (ebook), The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving (serial reader), Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling (physical book), two books for school/work - Teaching What Really Happened: How to Avoid the Tyranny of Textbooks and Get Students Excited About Doing History by James W. Loewen and What Every Teacher Should Know About Pass the Praxis II Test: Principles of Learning and Teaching by Christina Shorall, two comic books - Wolverine: Origin II and The Walking Dead Issue #179, I'm trying to get through Shakespeare's play (through Shakespeare app on Richard II) and Edgar Allen Poe's stories (on Hop-Frog on iPoe), three books I have started and put to the side (NOW4A2 by Joe Hill, The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon, and City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare), and one book to further my knowledge in my field -American Gospel: God, the Founding Fathers, and the Making of a Nation by Jon Meacham.I'm a history teacher and am off for the summer so I am catching up on my reading for the year!
Just finished The Orphan's Tale, it was tough read with the subject but probably the best I've read this year because of the depth. I am about to start Girl Last Seen by Nina Laurin for my book club.
River road by Carol goodman & gold diggers by tasmina Perry lol I'm a multi reader sometimes I'm not in the mood for serious 🌸
I'm reading Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies about Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be by Rachel Hollis
Currently reading Bridge to Terabithia with my 9 year old so we can watch the movie! I recently finished The Handmaid's Tale so I can start watching the series on Netflix. I always read before watching :)
I’ve just started Barracoon: The Story of the Last “Black Cargo” - excellent so far (I’m only about 25 pages in.)
Currently listening to Huck Finn on Audible and reading Next Year in Havana, of course. About to start Kitchen Confidential (Bourdain is reading it on Audible!) and I just finished Rupi Kaur's Milk and Honey.

Jamie-Lee wrote: "Currently reading The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón and I am so hooked! Might be my new favourite..."Carlos Ruiz Zafon is an amazing writer!! His Cemetery of Forgotten Books series is one of my absolute favorites!
I am currently reading two books that I am thoroughly enjoying:1. Written in My Own Heart's Blood, by Diana Gabaldan; the eighth book in her Outlander series.
2. Sick in the Head, by Judd Apatow.
The Boy on the Beach, written by the aunt of the Syrian boy Alan Kurdi who washed up on the beach in 2015.
loved it!!
“I've learnt that if you're careful, you can hold a butterfly in your hand. And that even if it's been trapped, frightened, in a jar, it still has a chance to survive. Because a butterfly with a broken wing can still fly.”
Ceci wrote: "The Alice Network. Could not put it down, LOVED it, need to see it become a mini series or movie!"I also adored the Alice Network. I could see BBC making a mini-series out of it. I did some reading about the actual role of women spies during both the Great War and WWII. Interisting topic.
I have just started This Is Not My Life: A Memoir of Love, Prison, and Other Complications by Diane Schoemperlen. It has been on my TBR list for a while.I am also reading "Mastering Affluence" by Carol Tuttle. I was lucky to be selected to be on Carol's pre-launch team so I get to read it early. It will be released this fall.
Carol's previous books The Child Whisperer: The Ultimate Handbook for Raising Happy, Successful, Cooperative Children and It's Just My Nature! A Guide to Knowing and Living Your True Nature were amazing.
I am currently reading 1984 by George Orwell as a part of The Great American Read; so far so good but taking me longer than usual to get through it!
Erotic Stories for Punjabi WidowsNot really something that would have hit my radar without this group. Finding it a delightful book to read.
I'm reading Circe. I don't have a great familiarity with these characters, so it's nice to pick up some greater depth to the mythology.
