I Finished The Queens of Crime by Marie Benedict Finally.

This was such a slow read for me. It just didn’t make for an intriguing murder mystery involving 5 Real Life Myster Writers. I am disappointed as Marie Benedict is a favorite author of mine.

Now I started The Master Jeweler: A Novel by Weina Dai Randel. Interesting, set in China in the 1920’s at this point. Deals with Faberge Egg. Just read Homeseeking which also dealt with this time period in Shanghai. Learned a lot of history.

Also, The Story She Left Behind by Patti Callahan Henry just starting. Hear this is a good book.

I’m reading Harlem Rhapsody by Victoria Christopher Murray with both book and audio. Quite interesting, was not aware of Jessie Redmon Fauset edited The Crisis, the magazine that tells of literature and art of Negro People. She is also involved with W.E.B. DuBois, so much to take in.

On Audio, Penitence by Kristin Koval Its a bit dark involving one child killing her brother. Will come back to it.
