message 6695: by Sher (new)

Sher Davidson (goodreadscomsher-davidson) | 7 comments I just finished reading two wonderful and engaging books: Ruth Ozeki's A Tale for the Time Being and Diane Wilson's The Seed Keeper. Both were wonderful for different reasons: Tale was so original in theme and way of writing. I recently attended a lecture by Ozeki. She's a funny and deep-thinking person! Diane Wilson's book beautifully portrays the harm done to Native Americans and what they can teach us about the importance of respecting nature, and so much more. A provocative novel.
