Kristine | 284 comments I just finished The Light We Carry Overcoming in Uncertain Times by Michelle Obama by Michelle Obama on Audio 🎧 and thought it was fantastic. Such an uplifting and hopeful book.

Next, deciding between several. See Jill is reading Honor and Sarah is reading Our Missing Hearts I just got both of these from my library and will definitely read them. Have new book, Maame by Jessica George , by Jessica George, so that might be next and then the other two.

It is a story about Maddie, a 25 year old Londoner who has been the caregiver for her father who has advanced stage Parkinson’s Disease. So, Maggie really has been a wonderful daughter, but has lived a limited life. Once she finally gets a chance to try and build her own life, she learns all the ups and downs that go along with that. A tribute to what real love and friendship mean. Highly Recommend, you will route for Maggie!
