It was always hard for me to read the Cross books. Admittedly the first couple were okay. But I agree, they do feel a bit pretentious.

Beach Read is reallllly good! Haven't gotten to get much reading of it done though since I'd been busy the past month, but hoping to delve into it more.

Fairy Tale by Stephen King I just got the other day when it came out, so far it is good as well....different from some of his books so far.

I know that Fairytale isn't supposed to be horror, so I guess that makes sense why it wouldn't be like most King stuff. I haven't read any Emily Henry but I've been meaning to, so that's good to hear!

Lisa Gamble | 4 comments Just finished A man called Ove. It did start out a little slowly and I questioned some things along the way, but by the end I had tears in my eyes. I feel better for reading it, if that makes any sense. The story will stay will stay with me. 5 stars.
