Just finished "The Woman They Could Not Silence" by Kate Moore. Excellent read! Haven't picked up a book in a few days.
Adriana Trigiani The Good Left UndoneDave Grohl The Storyteller
Lisa Jewell I Found You (audiobook)
Home Front Kristin Hannah (audiobook)
I just finished
, by Tara Lynn Masih. I really enjoyed the short stories, all revolving around a theme of Disappearing and also where does one go if you are looking to start over? The stories worked really well together. Even has one with Agatha Christie. Enjoyed these stories a lot. Tonight, starting
, Nathan Harris.
I've not long finished These Impossible Things by Salma El-Wardany which I really enjoyed. Now I'm reading The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf which is a very different read (my usual genre) but it's hard going for me right now, don't think it was the best choice given my head space, but it is a good book, it's a mystery/thriller/horror. I'm just not able to devour it the way I normally would - anyone else find that lately?
Next on my TBR list is Pivot by Laura Lexx I watched an Instagram Live Q&A with Laura last night about her new novel & it sounded like a brilliant easy summer read, which I'll need after my current book.
Alina wrote: "Just finished Bunny, by Mona A. It was truly the weirdest book I’ve ever read."I have to read it now :)
Freya wrote: "I am currently reading (well, re-reading) The Book Thief by Markus Zusak"Freda, I loved The Book Thief. I have it on my to re-read list.
Hope you enjoy it the second time around.
I finished
, Nathan Harris and thought this was a really well written story. Great Historical Fiction. I also finished
, by Torrey Peters. At first the book did not draw me in, but then the characters grew on me. I ended up liking all the characters, but still found their decisions or really inability to make decisions difficult. Now, think going to start
