At the end of Every Dark Corner after Mallory was rescued, we still didn’t know who inside of the police department was helping Remy. Did you remember that being an unfinished issue?

[Charlene]

Yes, I remember, and I wondered after reading this book if there wasn't another unanswered question niggling my brain.

[Jonetta]

I remembered that and knew to expect that to be an issue in this book.

[Anita]

I thought that the dirty cop was the brother in law. For some reason I missed that the insider was never found.

[Jonetta]

I remembered because I was trying to figure out who it was and the book ended:)

I think Wyatt would have never been tagged for Mallory if he had just left it alone. His other "interests" were unraveling, but he just made everything come tumbling down like a house of cards.

[Jonetta]

Exactly! But, she was bound to travel in his circle because of Adam and Meredith so that made him paranoid. This was her first day out in four months.

[Anita]

I didn't get that Adam and Wyatt were still close. When Wyatt started all this Adam and Meredith weren't together. Actually, is was the attack on the restaurant that got them back together. I think Mallory would have built a life and Wyatt would have been safe from her.

[Jonetta]

Adam and Wyatt weren’t partners anymore but they still considered themselves “family.” The attack got them back together at work (Wyatt weaseled himself onto it) but outside of work would be a risk.

Karen Rose often links her series arcs by seemingly solving the mystery only to have it revealed that there is a mystery player who hasn't been caught. Looks like this is the case with Edge of Darkness as well.
