PattyMacDotComma Bond. James Bond. Need I say more? Good prequel to the famous Ian Fleming spy series.

At the request of the Fleming estate, Horowitz wrote Forever and a Day to introduce us to 007 and the woman who explains why she orders martinis "shaken, not stirred."
Forever and a Day by Anthony Horowitz A solid 4★. Link to my review

I think I have to read this , I read the original Ian Fleming's James Bond novels when I was in college and really liked them because of the pace, style and action and James Bond's vulnerability- which I saw nothing of in Moore's Bond. I checked your review and I have marked it as To read :)

Great, Rabiraj - hope you aren't disappointed. It seemed to have the same pace to me, but I'm not sure I remember them well enough now!

PattyMacDotComma Short and sweet! Sweet price, that is. Author Gregg Hurwitz is giving readers Buy a Bullet FREE on Amazon! It's a self-contained story plus extracts from Book 1 of his popular Orphan X thriller series.

Currently reading The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender and The Call of Cthulhu. Loving the first, it's just magical. The writing has captured me completely. And liking the latter so far :)

Just Finished Vigilance.

This was a good read overall. Weird but interesting and engaging too.

My review for Vigilance-3.75 Stars. It could have been a 4 star so easily but a thing or two didn't sit well with me.

Cyn | 28 comments I can't seem to read 1 book at a time, so I alternate between a few

Right now I'm reading The Subprimes and Song of the Current. I have been trying to get through my re-read of The Red Pyramid for what seems like years (I barely remember what happened in this one and I want to finish the series cuz I'm such a fan of all Rick Riordan's other works).

Oh yay! I've re-read pjo many times and have just finished a re-read of the series last month.

I wouldn't really recommend The kane chronicles. It's an average adventure with Egyptian mythology woven in, but what annoys me is how, when Carter and Sadie are telling the story, they interrupt each other
