A handsome, young, American hit-man leaps from the frying pan of the Mob in Philly into the fire of a murder investigation in coastal Australia in Aussie author Dave Warner's River of Salt.

Currently reading several books. The 3 I am reading everyday are:
The Song of Achilles- Loving it! It's my second book from the author. I read Circe from her a little while ago and I had to read this. I love our main characters so far and the writing is easy as ever.
The Priory of the Orange Tree-I'm only 12 chapters in and this book is monster size! It took me a couple of chapters to get into the story and start enjoying it. It's good now.
Leviathan Wakes-This book is so full of action and suspense and I love all of that. You get interested from the very intense prologue. Took me a while to search all the terms, but loving it!
I'm Buddy Reading all of these with 3 different people. Hope to finish them all before April ends.

I'll need to read that series too
Reading
by Haruki Murakami... Read around 30% of the first book and really liked the storyline and the characters till now.. Anyone here reading this book? Could share ideas..
I'm only just starting A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin, ( and yes I know I'm definitely late to this party 🙄)
The Soldier's Curse shows 1825 Australia and the British penal colony in Port Macquarie, NSW, warts and all. It's the first of a series that Meg Keneally and her father, Tom Keneally, have planned to bring history to life. I've got to say, I'm sure glad I didn't live then!

A Plague of Angels by P.F. Chisholm (aka Patricia Finney) is another entertaining adventure with Sir Robert Carey through 16th century London. Plague, jealousy, swordfights - what's not to love?

Lol, you are not! I wanna read the series too but first I wanna watch the last season.

The second and third books in the A Song of Ice and Fire series are better than A Game of Thrones, IMO. BUT I'm considering rereading the series after the last season of the show, and I'm intimidated by having to read the first book a second time haha.
currently reading Scythe and loving it but I'm rarely in the mood to read these days so I haven't got to finishing it.
Finished 'The Song of Achilles' (my review) a couple hrs ago and I've been listening to songs and reading it's quotes for the last couple hrs. Loved it so much. It's very close to my heart and I hope to never forget it.
Was busy because of some research work as well as with my job, so had a hard time catching up with my reading and goodreads community, presently reading Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts , the book is good , hopefully will be done with it by end of this week.
Local kids form a group called The Gunners. Author Rebecca Kauffman shows us how they grow up, still feeling guilty about how they failed a friend.

Good book for young people about an inspiring woman. Kids who never knew Oprah can find out what all the fuss is about in Work it, Girl: Run the Show Like CEO Oprah Winfrey by Caroline Moss. Biography, illustrations, and photos!

That's great :) I was in that mood a month ago, but I decided to wait for the season. Right now, I'm drunk on Achilles and Patroclus from The Song of Achilles and I have explored the whole fandom and fan-art. Music too, lol. Now thinking about either re-reading it or reading The Iliad. Enjoy the books :)

Out of Sight, by Elmore Leonard, is a popular cops and robbers escapade that was made into a film with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez. Guess which was which.
