I absolutely love the Stormlight Archive and Riyria. Are you in Michael J Sullivan’s private group?Kingkiller and Red Rising were pretty good for me. I haven’t started Wheel of Time. I’m kind of afraid of the commitment.

I bought the first three on a Kindle sale; they look really good!
New Fears 2 ed.By Mark Morris this year it has beetles on the cover. Interesting collection of no theme ss
If you’re looking for straight romance, the Bride Quartet (4 books) is sooo sweet and romantic. If you want YA romance, I thought 96 Words For Love and The Fault in Our Stars we’re both really good.

Bliss, Remembered

I don’t even like romance, so you know they got to be good!
Aqsa wrote: “I’d recommend you all to read Spinning Silver.”It’s up next after this big beast of a book!
I'd recommend Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger! Most of the reviews are good, but I've read some really bad reviews about it-- and just warning you, the bad reviews are ALL wrong.

I recommend the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah Maas. I didn't love the first book in the series but the second and third are SO good--I even got a tattoo based on the book.
I recommend The Shadow Queen and The Wish Granter by C.J. Redwine. These are AWESOME fairytale retellings. Especially the first one :)
Junglezen SheruI recommend the book Junglezen Sheru written by a Monk, teacher and writer.
The story describes ethology.
I recommend Snow by Orhan Pamuk for the poignant and a beautiful story , One Hundred Years of Solitude for the metaphor and fantastic storytelling , Herzog for the brilliance of the eponymous character and Kafka on The Shore for the brilliant piece of storytelling and the use of surreal and metaphors
I would recommend the Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games, the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, and The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die by April Henry.
Audrey wrote: "I’ve read Howl’s Moving Castle. A bit odd."The studio Ghibli film based on the book differs form the novel, but i loved it so much!
And i'd recommend 'The Burning' by Laura Bates for people to read, either free through netgalley or when it comes out february. i really enjoyed it more htan i expected.

This is motivating since I didn't enjoy the movie at all! I'm glad the book is better :)

Oh, alright, so you mean that there's more to the characters but not to the scary part? I just think the start of the movie was terrifying and the rest just fell flat with me. Maybe if the story made more sense (maybe it will in the book). I will read Stephan King (I haven't yet) and I have planned to start with The Shining and then I'll give this a try too :) I hope The Shining is good.
Thank you for the clarification and the detail, Anamarija :)

I really recommend Jade City by Fonda Lee! It's a great fantasy book. Here're my thoughts on it: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I highly recommend Address Unknown. It's just 40 pages long and we just read it in the Reading Sprint where the link to download it was also provided. It's really awesome, and someone we must read!
I love fantasy, retellings and dystopian. Check out my list of read books :) can anyone suggest some books I might enjoy?
@Alanah I'd suggest linking the shelves for convenience. Also, your profile's private :/

The first is a mystery and the second is a bit mysterious and both have a touch of the supernatural as well as being a bit less than 300 pages. I liked them!
