My review for Memory of Lost Dreams

It was my second review of the same book... I first reviewed it April 2016, when it was half the length. At first, I edited my original Goodreads review, but the date still showed as April 2016, so I deleted my old Goodreads review and started a new one.

I did the same for Amazon, but nothing changed. I had first edited the old Amazon review, and the new review didn't show up on Amazon after a few days. So I deleted it and started a new one, but again it wasn't showing up. It's noteworthy that my edits and deletions and additions were always accepted, then Amazon said the standard "We will review your submission" line, but nothing happens. It simply may be that my original Amazon review is too old to change. It doesn't let you post more than one review for the same product (of course).

Anyway, the matter is now that my new review is on Goodreads, and the old review is still on Amazon US and UK. Sorry I couldn't do anything further.

This concludes my participation in this round, but I'll stay on as moderator until all the reviews are in.

Child of Fire, Child of Ice-A Sci-Fi Romance Series

If you grew up on the tales of Darkover or Pern you will love Child of Fire, Child of Ice.

This is not your normal coming of age story, nor your normal "only you can save the world" story,

Here the worlds are well thought out and developed as we get to see part of them through the protagonists' eyes. We learn their history, and get a glimpse of their potential future.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

I will need more than a few days. I am still reading Child of Fire, Child of Ice-A Sci-Fi Romance Series. I have contacted the author and have an agreement with her about how long it will take for me to finish.

I know you all say you will need more time, but it's getting to the point where the reviews are simply too late.

I'll wait until Wed., but I may have to look into docking one review for each of the three authors after that date. (Since the three did do one review each already, out of the two each required).

Terrific, thanks everyone. The only one left is Eric. He has posted one review long ago, but he has not been responding to posts here concerning his second review, and he has not granted public access to his Goodreads messages.

I'll ensure Eric gets docked the second review of his book from this group and I'll close up this group.

However, this group did great, and you all deserve a nice round of applause.
