I loved some of them from Get Fictional, but she can be pricey unfortunately.

I have some newer candles from Bath and Body Works and Target also.

I love summer and woodsy themes especially!

My favorite is Novelly Yours, they even sell candles from her shop at my local indie! I loved Flick the Wick but I believe they closed. Frostbeard's Reading at the Cafe is my absolute fav! I have a whole list on Etsy, one of bookish and one of non-bookish candles!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1435 comments I will have to look into those. Get Fictional did a lot of classic horror and paranormal but again can be pricey and soy wax to me melts faster

message 315: by Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (last edited Jul 17, 2023 02:55PM) (new)

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1435 comments Novelly Yours looks a bit cheaper at 17 for 9 oz instead of 22. The design of the jars matter as well - may do an order soon! :)
Edited - browsing other candle sites it look like 22 isn't that bad for 9 oz, I'm just cheap I guess - and apparently's it's for a new line type
Guess I'll stick with get Fictional and I'm used to them as a favorite but of course will sniff out other candlemakers when I have chance and $$

I have a bunch from Briarwick on my wishlist but I've never bought from them, I might have to now. Though TBH I need to use up some of my current ones first. I must have over 100 candles, mostly the little 2oz. Because for awhile I subbed to a bunch of candle boxes (sadly they're all now defunct.)

Half-Point Progress Report

1. How many books have you been reading? Have you finished any? I've read from 3 books and finished 2!
Are you on track with respect to your readathon goals so far? Yes, I just need to read a graphic novel.

2. Have you eaten real food today? (Not just junk food, ACTUAL HEALTHY FOOD) What was your favorite food or beverage so far? Yes, I had some cereal! The orange creamsicle bubbly was my favorite drink so far.

3. Have you been participating in any of the activities on our social media (sprints, photo challenges, discussion questions, BINGO, etc.) Not much

4. Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep? I started 2 hrs early and already took some time to sleep.

5. Have 5 senses check-in- What are you seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and smelling now? Seeing my computer screen, hearing Speak of the Devil audiobook, tasting my mocha raspberry frozen coffee from Dunkin' touching my computer keyboard/mouse, smelling not much, lol, no distinct smells but the ac air.

6. How is your readathon going, overall? Pretty good so far!
