Rosa (rosaiglarsh) | 5379 comments I was wondering if imprints like the "Point" ones of Scholastic should be listed as a series. There were Point Fantasy, Point Horror, Point SF, Point Crime, and Point Romance. Right now, Point Crime is its own genre on Goodreads, and I don't think that's correct. Point Romance books aren't grouped together yet at all. I think the different "Point" imprints should be treated as series. Am I overthinking this?

Scott No. Series must share characters, scenario or world/universe.

For imprints, a list can be created.

SamSpayedPI | 2305 comments I wouldn't think so. An imprint is just a department of a publishing company. The similarities and differences between the different imprints may have more to do with the publisher's corporate structure than any similarities or differences in the titles they contain. For example, one imprint may exist because a smaller company was acquired; one may be devoted to hardcover books, another to trade paperbacks; etc.
