Chuck White | 210 comments Hi,

I hope this is the proper place to inquire.

How does one go about getting the profiles of two authors, with the exact same first and last names (and the same middle initial), separated from each other?

GoodReads has these two authors merged. Completely different people, completely different types of books.

And one of them has been dead for over 15 years, while the other is alive and well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Olivia (livka) | 7926 comments Please list the books (or post a link to the list of books) and will be able to move them to the new profile (we use spaces between first and last name to do that).
Some bio for the author page would be also very helpful.

Chuck White | 210 comments Thank you Olivia.

Here is the link for the author page.

The Alan G. Barbour that I know of is responsible for all the books on this list, except the four books on Lyme Disease.

This Alan G. Barbour's bio information includes:

Birth: July 25, 1933

Death: February 12, 2002

Here is a link to a tribute after his death.

The Lyme Disease books are by a different Alan G. Barbour, and his autobiographical information can be found at this link.

I hope this helps and if you require any additional information, please let me know.

I appreciate your attention to this.

Olivia (livka) | 7926 comments Chuck,
here are the profiles:

As you can see I found only 3 books on Lyme Disease. Could you point me to the forth one?

Chuck White | 210 comments Apologies, Olivia, I'm still learning to count. It is only the 3 books on Lyme Disease, as listed.

Thank you so much for these edits and clearing up this confusion.
