MountainKat | 31599 comments Let's reflect on the best and worst of the previous month's books.....

I know I can get so focused on what is next that I forget about all the wonderful books I read for the previous month's challenges! Well, April Fool's Day got me and I'm late posting for March - oops. It is finally spring here, my daffodils are blooming - I love seeing their happy faces! Did you enjoy Spring Break or did it just make you want summer to hurry up? Honestly, I am happy to be done having life revolve around school schedules anymore. Now I can let the really important things rule it - when my Disneyland pass is good and what the sports schedule is!

Did you discover some gems last month? DNF a few? Find your new book boyfriend or a heroine who personifies TSTL? Come on, we all want to know! Did March treat you like a lion or lamb?

MountainKat | 31599 comments I had a great reading month in March! It started with a thoroughly enjoyable light and easy Dear Bridget, I Want You, which was funny and very sweet. I found a couple of new series - Made Marian, The Guardian Trilogy and Blasphemy. Continued a few more - Cold Fury Hockey, Charley Davidson, Masters and Mercenaries and In Death. And sadly finished tw series I've really enjoyed - Play by Play and The Ivy Years. All of these were solid 4 Stars and even a couple of 4+.

I did have two 5 Star books in March too! Hello Stranger was just about perfect for me - I loved the characters, the story and the narration! And The Catch completely made up for the cliffhanger of The Player. The story didn't go like I imagined, and it was even better for it. The epilogue was amazing as was the narration, so it was pretty perfect in my book.

No duds in March, which makes it an even better month!

Trio | 2789 comments Wow I had a ton of 4 and 5 star reads in March. Starting with Living On Air which was unique and a huge pleasure to read, then I loved Body Art which was great - Jordan Castillo Price creative and wonderful.

Of Hope and Anguish was great for some historical smut, I loved J.L. Merrow's new one One Under and I had two 5 star audiobooks: September and Blind Space.

And I went a little nuts with narrator Joel Leslie (I'm still on this kick) but I loved Femme, Beautiful boy.

I was lucky enough to get to read Ash and now I just have to wait for my copy of Don't 5!

And for something really new and different I read and loved When Everything Is Blue and Asylum.

Unfortunately I did have a complete bombs. I R2R'd Thom's Desires where you agree to write a review no matter what - I had to do less than 3 stars, but this one was so bad I didn't dare give anything but 2 stars... so many problems and it was painful to finish. But that rarely happens to me :)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments My 5 star reads were:

Red Dirt Heart 3 - the more I read/listen to this series, the more I love it!
September - *snap* Trio!!

Other books that weren't quite 5 stars but very close were:
Hemovore
Lime Gelatin and Other Monsters,

I also really enjoyed and will definitely continue the series soon were Forsaken, Dyeing to be Loved and Single Malt

The only book I didn't particularly like but I have to admit it still maintained my interest was Insight.

Fran | 12278 comments My favorite reads of March were Ruthless King (Mount Trilogy, #1) by Meghan March and The List (The List, #1) by Tawna Fenske . Both four stars for me :)

My biggest disappointment was Fit (Fit, #1) by Rebekah Weatherspoon . Adding the BDSM element to the short story just didn't work for me, and there was some strange dialogue that just didn't flow naturally.

Jamie (TheRebelliousReader) (iambrucewayne) | 1047 comments Favorites: Slow Heat by Leta Blake Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass, #6) by Sarah J. Maas Binti (Binti, #1) by Nnedi Okorafor The Bronze Horseman (The Bronze Horseman, #1) by Paullina Simons

Least favorite: Lick (Stage Dive, #1) by Kylie Scott that one just didn't do it for me and I had so many issues with it. Hopefully the rest of the series is better.
