So I read this book in middle school and have been looking for it for years. Here's everything I can recall (SPOILERS AHEAD):

The main character and her brother are sent to a boarding school where they're divided into houses (one of the houses is Violet House), and the students are fed mind-control brownies to keep them docile. There is a character named Brooklyn who mentions his sister is named Junebug. And that's all I remember. Thank you!
