At the beginning of the book our heroine is sent on a blind date. She meets the wolf alpha on the date. During the date the alpha tells her he is a wolf shifter and that she is his mate. They spend the night together in a hotel room, but she becomes afraid and runs back home. He eventually wins her in the end.

It's a short story- only a few hours to read it. I know I have the book but with over 500 books on my ereader................
