Did you like it Melinda? I really loved that serIES.

I am proud that I have not looked at any of your spoilers and I do plan to read this duet.

Do it Paula! its the best if you don't know anything going in...

message 53: by Paula (new)

Paula White | 800 comments It's lined up Grey! Need to finish what I am reading, then maybe Jean's ATF - then on to angst central which I assume this is. Transcend will also be read but not until book 2 is out!

Nay (4ukcats) I'm crying and I'm ok with the end. (view spoiler)

Robin (in answer to how you felt about her decision)--(view spoiler)

message 55: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Yes, anyone who wants to read this duet, please DON'T read the spoilers. It will ruin it!

message 56: by Nay (last edited Apr 02, 2018 04:19AM) (new)

Nay (4ukcats) OMG I just saw the epilogue! lol

You don't put The End and THEN put an epilogue! Reading it now....

message 57: by Nay (last edited Apr 02, 2018 04:47AM) (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Okay, now I feel even better about the end!

But I feel (view spoiler)

message 58: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments I want to read this and also want to click spoilers! I am very naughty. 😈

Trying to control myself.

don't read the spoilers, Leslie...

message 60: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) What Grey said.

Leslie--more than EVER, these spoilers will ruin the books, the series, everything! Back away from the spoilers!!!

message 61: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Leslie - I didn't even know this was a BR thing...I just saw this today. Otherwise I would have been all over it. And you know me...I've clicked every damn spoiler...but still intend to read the duet :) The spoilers do kind of ruin it...but I've already forgotten what I read, and it's all just words/names on a page unless you're reading the book at the time you read the spoilers. Old age has it's advantages...now where did I put my glasses?

message 62: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) ROFLMAO, Lisa! That is so true! If you don’t know who we’re talking about, you’re much less likely to remember it. I’m glad you’re going to read the series—I had planned to ask if you were going to.

I really like your response, Nay...you touched on some really great points and some things that uber pissed me off (view spoiler)

message 64: by Grey (new)

Oh... AND (view spoiler) I can't even write a review...

message 65: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) GREY! OMG This flitted through my mind as I read it: (view spoiler)

message 66: by Nay (last edited Apr 02, 2018 09:18AM) (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Yes, as much as I loved the 2nd book, I felt that it was rushed. It definitely needed further content editing to find plot holes and inconsistencies.

However...it does need to go on record...this book or these books rather, did grab my attention in a *big* way. And, I'm just gonna throw this out. (view spoiler)

message 70: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I know. I know!

I'm positive that I need to give a book a high rating when it has problems and I STILL love it! If a story is great, I can overlook certain things (as long as they're left to my imagination, which these things mostly were.)

I'm glad we're entertaining, Kooloo! lol

Do you need some mind bleach after all that Anna-ing? You are a far greater woman than I am!!!

Let me know if you wanna do a BR of this duet - I'm sure we can scare up a few candidates to do it with us!!!

Yes, I absolutely need a bleach cleansing after that ride! lol...it was disturbing on so many levels, yet I couldn't stop reading...

I'll BR read for sure but I won't have time until next week if that works for you...just let me know :)

message 75: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I'm more than willing to wait even longer - I have my 3 challenge books to do, plus a very special "pre-beta" read of Scarcity of Condors to dive into...and about eleventy billion ARCs that I got myself into. So....you just let me know when you're good to go and I'll make the time. It sounds like this is an angst-fest right up my alley!!!

JudyCa | 1709 comments I've downloaded both just waiting for Lisa 😬 AND Ela?

message 84: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I loved it! I just had to suspend belief or fill in the blanks myself about a few things. I still don't know if I'm happy with the ending, but I'm pretty sure I am! lol But even if I hated the way it turned out, I still would have loved the duet.

It twisted my tummy, it made me cry, small parts of it pissed me off, it made me swoon, it made me guess, it made me think--all the things I LOVE in a book/series!

I still haven't decided what I'm giving the 2nd book, but it'll probably be 4-1/2 stars (1/2 deducted due to the plot issues).

Paula White | 800 comments Just finished my last book on the train in to work. Loaded this duet to start on the journey home.....Out tonight after work so will not get through much tonight apart from the train journey

message 87: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Hmmm....I cant tell from your comments if I would like this or not. I am quite leary because I want a clear cut ending that I will love. I have refrained from clicking spoilers but I am very tempted. *clicking finger twitches*

Oh Arsen you say....ok then i'll try even though Robin said C book.

message 93: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Yay Ela!!!!

message 94: by Paula (new)

Paula White | 800 comments I didn't like Arsen.......but I liked the C book...

message 95: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments Oh geez....

message 96: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Same Paula - I didn't much care for Arsen, but I looooooooooved the C book. And I don't think I ever understood if all the backlash against the C book was because it wasn't good, or it just had one of those endings that you want to walk wide circles around because you can't believe the author "went there". I just know it's a book we have to whisper our love for!!!

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I love SHOUTY Ela...I'd do almost anything at all to get her to reveal herself ;)

message 99: by Paula (new)

Paula White | 800 comments I think it was the ending, they couldn't believe she went there but I loved all of the C books.

Oh and I need to put my hand up and admit - I looked at the spoilers...but I am still reading it
