Druid Twilight: The Loom of Destiny is set in First Century Britain, during the Roman invasion. The story is told from the perspective of the people of the island, though it is well-grounded in historical facts as we know them. The Roman characters, as well as key tribal leaders, such as Boudica, are well researched and presented. The conflicts and major events also are rooted in the histories as told by Roman historians.
Originally planned to be a series of four novellas for electronic publication only, feedback from early readers eventually brought Druid Twilight into two books, published months apart. The Epic Version combines both books into one, and adds some research material requested by readers.
At heart, it is a love story, with fully rounded and engaging characters. You will likely find this book difficult to put down, whether or not you are a fan of historical fiction.
