Murder mystery - reader presented with suspect interviews, investigation reports, evidence items, etc /s

This murder mystery might have been written in the 80's but I remember it was written in a different style. The novel presented the suspect, witness, etc interviews, police reports, etc and the reader had to read all this to try to figure out the mystery. I think the name of the book was "How to Kill the Boss" but I can't seem to find a book now by that name. I do remember it was about killing a boss - and I think it was at some office. I hope someone can help me.
