SOLVED. A guy goes through a mirror and his brother follows and he ends up having to save him [s]

so this guy goes through a mirror at the beginning that I think it says his dad went through before. His brother ends up following and getting bit and the MC has to save his brother from turning into a stone troll or something like that. He has to fight a witch and he encounters a dragon. He also finds unicorns to get some type of object from fairies to help save his brother but I can not for the life of me remember the name. I read it in school about three years ago and it could have been published anytime between 5-10 years
