Every time I read it I feel the same way... I re-read Final Empire after reading Eleventh Metal in December... I continued with Well of Ascension this time...

Yea... I was a lot more critical about that on my 2nd read-through

I'm still slowly working through this. Might finish Secret History today.

Yes, I saw more of that this time around as well. (view spoiler)

Hadn't put that together! I honestly usually don't even try, it's more fun to read it and have certain things fall into place than trying to piece it all together.
I spent an unhealthy amount of time on Coppermind wiki after I started reading the Stormlight books last fall and wanted to start piecing everything together... still tons more I could learn, but I have an intermediate knowledge of what's going on...
there's just so much info hidden in signings and book tour Q&As that I don't have time to sift through and find transcripts for...

Yea... very different story... I'm interested to see what he does next in Threnody, but I get excited at every pending Sanderson story I hear about in the pipeline...

I really enjoyed the characters and the world. I hope we get more of this in the future. Even if it doesn't follow the same characters, just the same setting would be nice.

We're probably going to have to wait a long time to get much more of a continuation of the actual story in Sixth of Dusk, since it's the farthest into the future of the timeline... I'm thinking the sci-fi Mistborn here... (view spoiler)

Edgedancer
I only read the first 2 chapters... I'm so very slow these days 🙈

This is very much a story about Lift accepting (a little bit) that she's aging... so it gets a bit more serious as it goes along...
I prefer her in Oathbringer, because we finally get to see her through other people's eyes, and losing some of the internal monologue removes some of her grating attributes...

I really like to see characters through other people's eyes and I can't wait for her to meet the others!
Yesterday I spend nearly all of my reading time reading the words of radiance summary at Coppermind 😅 It felt like a whole book itself! But I forget a lot of details, also some about Lift, so I guess it was necessary to fully enjoy Edgedancer and Oathbringer next month.

I just copied that from the wiki... answers your question without really spoiling anything... I deleted the Oathbringer stuff...

Thanks Iain, I wasn't sure if I already know who he is, but messed up the names again or if we just haven't met him yet.
The wiki has this big, red "Oathbringer spoiler" thingy everywhere so I try to stay away from it for now...

Just read chapter 8, (view spoiler)

I was thinking the same thing. I thought I recognised the name but couldn't place it.

I'm not sure if she doesn't get it or rather if she just don't care what he's talking about :D
Sadly I destroyed my phone and currently I'm using an old one until I get my new one (I hope it will arrive this week...), the kindle app doesn't work on this one and I don't have my paperwhite with me, so I can't continue right now...

Oh no! What did you do to your phone?!
I'll focus on reading Empire of Ashes for a bit! :)

I think it's Liar of Partinel you're thinking of. That's the one I still need to read.
