25%: (view spoiler)[ It seems pretty interesting so far. The format reminds me of Illuminae, though the story is definitely different. I'm curious about what direction the book is going to take. Right now I'm thinking that they're going to put the parts together and something bad is going to happen, which is where it will end. (hide spoiler)]

I had originally been pretty happy with it because the pace was steady from the start, but it seems to have slowed down a considerable amount. The format also makes it hard to connect with the characters, so I don't really care about them. (hide spoiler)]

Part 1 (view spoiler)[ This is so cool! I'm already a little in love. This concept is just amazing and I love how they're unearthing parts all over the world. Kara is a badass and I love her! I like the file format and the unknown voice doing the interviews. (hide spoiler)]

Part 2 (view spoiler)[ This turned from cool sci-fi to dramatic romance stuff real quick. Not sure I like this direction. Kara seems to be manipulative now and disregards Ryan's feelings, and I don't particularly like Vincent either. Wasn't expecting Ryan to run him over though! It is cool to see them attempting to manipulate the machine though. (hide spoiler)]

I'm not compelled to pick it up anymore although I'm a little more interested again after reading about the Genesis story and the history of the giants. I just hope she isn't used for war but with a corporation like that now in charge I can see it happening very soon! (hide spoiler)]

Done-Not sure what to think. I did think it was good, but not what I was expecting. A very strong ending and cliffhanger though.

I think Cara is may favorite right now, but I do love Vincent as well. The mystery dude really does seem to have a soft spot for Vincent and Cara! (hide spoiler)]

Part 1 (view spoiler)[ I'm fascinated by the time Vincent, Rose and Eva spent on the alien planet. This Russian lady is really starting to bug me. Also, Eva is throwing a fucking tantrum over coming back to earth and it's really annoying me. (hide spoiler)]

Also I wish Vincent could fucking spray Katherine with that neurotoxic gas. I really love Vincent, his speech about how he's a dick and would kill anyone who hurt his daughter made my heart swell.
