So fun fact: After listening to both IDEOATV + Worst Bestsellers take on James Patterson books, the first thing I did when I got home after a day of work was look at my girlfriend--who is a writer with a day job who one day would like to be a writer full time, and is working towards that goal--and told her: that I appreciated that her writing work will ultimately need to help put food on the table and feeding one's family is important and all that, but that she must promise me that she won't be as lazy a writer as Mr. Patterson, even if she is making the big bucks. I was listening to those podcasts just awestruck at the mentioned atrocities, and it made me sad.
