ABANDONED. Romance: plot, heroine uses divorce settlement for previous 2 ex-wives

Hmmm so I woke up this morning with this plot component in my head and I can't seem to remember what book it was in! any help will be appreciated :)

Its a romance.
So, I remember that in one part of the book - both the H & h are sitting at dinner with some other people and it comes up that in the h's divorce settlement I think, she used it help her ex-husband's ex-wife 1 and 2. One of them I think is either sick or disabled?

Argggh! I just can't remember what book this was in.
