Books about a group of friends that are completely different from each other

I can only think of "Red Garden" Red Garden, Tome 2 because the girls are vastly different in personality and interests. Yet in the end, you can see just how well they match despite their differences.

I guess the Generation of Miracle from "Kuroko no Basuke" 黒子のバスケ 1 Kuroko no Basuke 1 can also count. But I'm leaning more towards the friendship that Red Garden has.

I could only find examples in manga but I am looking for BOOKS.
