Publication Date 'Unknown' but is listed in book detail

On both my GR export and on my shelf the Publication Date for Closer Than You Think is 'unknown', but looking at the detail I see a date for each edition the book has listed, so why is the original publication date missing?

This is also happening for two other books:
Leave a Mark
and
MASTER LISTS FOR WRITERS: Thesauruses, Plots, Character Traits, Names, and More

I don't know why the original publication date field was left blank, but I've fixed it for all three works. :)
