Since only friends can PM me and I am not about to change this, as I made the decsion to restrict PMs to friends only after getting too many spam messages and a few off colour comments, if you have a question, please wither post it here or the individual threads themselves.

I was wondering are you wanting actual books or would you be interested in online archives as well? As a professional storyteller with Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland (TRACS) I have access to archives and or indexes of stories that are being preserved for posterity and are occasionally made public for limited periods of time, I would be happy to post links when they come up if that would be appropriate.
Links can be either text files or audio files.
Indexes are not exactly captivating reading per say but they are the hiding place for stories that have almost been lost, containing as they do a short summery of the story. I have pasted below a sample of an index from the Index of Spanish Folktales-Indexed in 1930. (Which I am working on at the minuet.) The letter and number codes are for the archivers and indicate various things including region, date given for story, alternative region/date for elements of story, place first collected and so on. (for example ex. 1 ECPE tells me that this version was collected in Extremadura in 1926 but an. 1. BTPE tells me a similar version was collected in Andalusia in 1884 )
